  • 1 c. ground blanched almond flour
  • ½ tsp. Celtic sea salt
  • ¾ tsp. cream of tartar
  • ⅓ Tbsp. Navitas Naturals Organic Yacon Syrup Navitas Naturals Yacon Syrup
  • ¼ c. filtered or spring water
  • 12 Tbsp. organic flax meal
  • ½ tsp. baking soda
  • 3 large organic eggs
  • 2 Tbsp. organic olive oil
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl almond flour, flax, salt, baking soda and cream of tartar.
  3. In a smaller bowl combine eggs, oil, water and yacon.
  4. Stir wet ingredients into dry. Mix in caraway seeds.
  5. Allow batter to stand for 2 minutes to thicken.
  6. Grease a 6.5" x 4" loaf pan and pour in batter.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
  8. Cool and serve.

    I am keen to try your Dark ‘Rye’ Bread, firstly what can I use instead if I don’t have Yacon syrup?
    And you mention in the method adding carraway seeds but they are not listed in the ingredients list, how many carraway seeds should be in this recipe?
