Slow Cooker Creamy Crab Bisque Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 c. organic, grass-fed milk
  • 24 oz. fresh lump crab meat
  • ½ tsp. ground nutmeg
  • ¼ c. dry organic red wine
  • 2 Tbsp. organic, grass-fed butter
  • 1 c. organic, grass-fed heavy cream
  • 2 tsp. organic lemon zest
  • 1 tsp. fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp. ground allspice
Instructions
  1. Combine the crab, cream, milk, butter, lemon zest, lemon juice, nutmeg and allspice in the stoneware. Blend well.
  2. Cover and cook on Low for 1 to 2 hours.
  3. Just before serving, stir in the wine.
  4. Cook an additional 10 minutes.
  5. Serve.
