Sunflower Flax Pizza Crust Recipe

  • 2 cloves organic garlic
  • 1 ½ c. raw sunflower seeds, soaked
  • 2 medium organic onions, chopped
  • ½ tsp. Celtic sea salt
  • 8 Tbsp. organic flax seeds
  • ⅓ c. organic virgin olive oil
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Add chopped onions, flax, sunflower seeds, oil, garlic, and salt to a VitaMix or high speed blender. Process until pasty and begins to hold together.
  3. Line a pizza stone with unbleached parchment paper. Pour the "dough" onto the lined stone and spread the mixture as thin as you can without "breaking" the dough.
  4. Transfer to oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown on the edges.
  5. Reduce heat to 200 degrees and cook 2 hours or until middle is not mushy.
  6. Remove from oven and top with your favorite pizza toppings.
