How to Make Coconut Popsicles (Paleo + Sugar Free!)
Now is the time to savor the last few weeks of summer. And what better way than with a creamy, ice-cold popsicle on a sun-drenched day!
But if you’ve read the labels on most frozen treats, you probably know that commercial popsicles are made with sugar, colorings and artificial ingredients.
Even the so-called “healthy” varieties made with “real fruit” often contain as much sugar as a can of soda!
The good news is that you can easily make your own healthy, organic frozen treats for your little ones (and yourself!) with a few simple ingredients… and just a few minutes of prep time.
Burn More Fat with Cool & Creamy Pops
What’s more, these cool and creamy treats featured below can actually help to boost your metabolism – thanks to their high concentration of medium chain triglycerides (MCTs).
Found predominantly in coconut, MCTs are burned by the liver for energy – not stored as fat.
What’s more, these unique coconut fats help your body blaze through slower-burning long chain triglyerides (LCTs) too.
Dr. Julian Whitaker notes:
LCTs are like heavy wet logs that you put on a small campfire. Keep adding the logs, and soon you have more logs than fire. MCTs are like rolled up newspaper soaked in gasoline. They not only burn brightly, but will burn up the wet logs as well.
So, enjoy the recipe below for a melt-in-your-mouth treat that might help you melt a bit of fat as well!
