Food Formulation — Two decades of hands-on product development — from therapeutic baking mixes designed for people with food sensitivities, to full recipe systems built around specific clinical goals (blood sugar balance, elimination protocols, anti-inflammatory nutrition). I understand both the chemistry of why a formulation works and the culinary craft of making it something people actually want to eat.
Research Infrastructure — I built one of the first databases connecting food compounds to physiological mechanisms and disease outcomes, sourced directly from the National Library of Medicine, years before “personalized nutrition” was a category. That same research discipline now underpins the Meal Genius platform.
Publishing & Media Credibility — Author of a four-book series published by McGraw-Hill, developed in collaboration with physicians and researchers from Harvard Medical School. Former host offer from The Healthy Living Channel.
Applied Clinical Experience — Worked with the Moffitt Cancer Center grant on phytonutrients and breast cancer risk reduction. Built and maintain the Best Brands™ food database to fill gaps the USDA’s own data doesn’t cover.
Platform & Technology — Founder of Meal Genius®, a personalized nutrition platform built for both consumers and clinical practitioners (MealRx), giving consulting clients a real-world example of food-as-medicine science translated into working technology.
