Stout Glazed Pacific Halibut Recipe

  • 1 Tbsp. raw coconut nectar
  • 24 oz. halibut
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 24 oz. stout beer (try Guinness or Murphy's)
  • 1 tsp. organic hot sauce
  1. In a skillet, add the the beer with the coconut nectar. Simmer over medium heat for 25 minutes to reduce to ½ cup. Pour into a bowl in stir in lemon juice and hot sauce. Cool to room temperature. Add halibut to a deep dish for marinating. Pour half of the glaze over the fish; reserve the remaining. Cover the fish and marinate 1 hour or overnight (preferred). Preheat the broiler. Place fish on a rimmed baking sheet and broil 4 inches from heat until brown and just cooked through, about 4-5 minutes.
