This Recipe:

Preparation

  1. Slice pitas in half.
  2. Add equal amounts of sliced mushroom, tomato and pepper to each. Tuck in pepper cheese.
  3. Cook to melt cheese. OVEN METHOD: Place stuffed pitas on a baking sheet and bake 10-12 minutes until lightly golden. FLAVORWAVE METHOD: Place on top rack and cook at 350 F for 6-8 minutes. Veggies should be crisp-tender and cheese melted.
