Preparation
First, finely chop cherries and drain.
Place ground beef in a large bowl and gently mix in cherries, garlic, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper until combined. Do not over-work the meat.
Divide into equal portions and form into 1/2-inch-thick patties. We suggest using a Flavorwave for cooking (this will further reduce the formation of HCAs noted above). Cook in the Flavorwave at 400 F for 10 minutes. Alternatively, grill or broil 5 to 6 minutes per side.
