Primal Bran Muffins (Gluten Free, Grain Free) Recipe

  • 3 large organic eggs
  • ¼ c. organic sunflower seeds
  • 8 Tbsp. organic flaxseed, ground
  • ½ tsp. Celtic sea salt
  • 4 whole, pitted organic dates
  • ¼ c. filtered or spring water
  • 1 tsp. non-aluminum baking soda
  • ½ c. ground organic almond flour
  • 2 Tbsp. organic coconut oil
  • ¼ c. organic sesame seeds
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl combine almond flour, flax meal, baking soda and salt.
  3. In a blender or Vita-Mix blend dates, eggs, oil and water on high speed until very smooth.
  4. Mix wet ingredients into dry.
  5. Stir in sesame seeds and sunflower seeds.
  6. Spoon batter into unbleached lined muffin tins.
  7. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20-25 minutes.
  8. Cool and serve.
