Ingredients
  • 1 ½ Serving(s) Food for Life Brown Rice Bread
  • 8 ounce(s) COD,ATLANTIC,RAW wild Alaskan cod, cut into chunks
  • 10 ounce(s) SHRIMP,MIXED SPECIES,RAW wild shrimp, peeled, deveined and chopped
  • ½ cup(s) SOUR CREAM,LIGHT organic sour cream
  • 3 Tbsp(s) MUSTARD,PREPARED,YELLOW organic dark mustard
  • 2 tsp(s) HORSERADISH,PREPARED organic prepared horseradish
  • 3 medium ONIONS,SPRING OR SCALLIONS (INCL TOPS&BULB),RAW organic scallions, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp(s) PARSLEY,RAW fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ cup(s) LEMON JUICE,RAW fresh organic lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp(s) PEPPER,BLACK fresh ground black pepper
Instructions
  1. First, make breadcrumbs. Lightly toast bread and add to a Magic Bullet or food processor. Grind to make large crumbs. Set aside.
  2. Add half of the shrimp to a food processor and process until a paste forms. Add cod, remaining shrimp, breadcrumbs, scallions, parsley, half of the lemon juice, and pepper. Pulse until combined.
  3. Shape mixture into patties, place on a lined baking sheet and refrigerate, covered, until cold and firm.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce by mixing the remaining lemon juice with the mustard, horseradish and sour cream. Cover and refrigerate.
  5. Preheat grill to medium-high or prepare Flavorwave. GRILL METHOD: Spray grill with oil. Grill approximately 3 minutes per side, flipping only once. FLAVORWAVE METHOD: Place burgers on top rack and cook 4-6minutes, or until firm.
  6. Serve burgers with sauce.
