Coconut Cream Frosting Recipe

  • 1 pinch Celtic sea salt
  • 4 tsp. arrowroot powder
  • 20 Tbsp. virgin coconut oil
  • 8 Tbsp. Navitas Naturals Organic Palm Sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. water
  • 1 c. organic coconut milk
  1. In a medium saucepan, heat coconut milk, palm sugar and salt.
  2. Simmer for 8-10 minutes or until sugar has dissolved.
  3. In a small bowl, combine arrowroot and water to form a smooth paste.
  4. Pour arrowroot mixture into saucepan.
  5. Mix contents of saucepan with a hand blender and bring to a boil, briefly
  6. Remove pot from heat and very gradually blend in coconut oil
  7. Place pot in freezer for 30-40 minutes, until frosting solidifies and turns white
  8. Remove from freezer and blend again, until fluffy
  9. Spread over cake or cupcakes.
