  • 4 Tbsp. organic virgin coconut oil
  • 1 Tbsp. organic Chinese mustard
  • 2 tsp. ground organic cumin
  • 1 tsp. organic turmeric
  • 5 tsp. minced organic fresh ginger
  • 3 cloves organic garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. ground organic mace
  • 1 tsp. organic cayenne pepper
  • 2 -8oz. breasts organic chicken, cut in ½" cubes
  • 1 ½ tsp. Celtic sea salt
  • 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. ground organic nutmeg
  • 1 tsp. ground organic cardamom
  • 1 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • ¾ c. Oikos Greek Yogurt
  1. Soak six 12-inch bamboo skewers in warm water for 30 minutes.
  2. Thread the chicken onto the skewers and set in a shallow glass baking dish.
  3. On a cutting board, use the side of a large knife to mash the garlic, ginger and salt to a paste.
  4. In a bowl, whisk the paste with the yogurt, mustard oil, lemon juice, cumin, mace, nutmeg, cardamom, turmeric, cayenne and black pepper.
  5. Pour the marinade over the chicken; turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 1 hour, turning occasionally.
  6. Cook the chciken. GRILL METHOD: Light a grill. Lightly oil the grate. Grill the chicken over a medium-hot fire for about 4 minutes per side, or until it is cooked through and golden. FLAVORWAVE/NUWAVE METHOD: Place skewers on top rack and cook at 350 degrees F for 3 minutes per side , or until it is cooked through and golden.
  7. Serve.
