Ingredients
  • ½ Tbsp. organic ground cumin
  • 2 tsp. organic paprika
  • 4 cloves organic garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. organic cayenne pepper
  • 1 oz. can Eden Foods Organic Diced Tomatoes with Green Chilies (14.5 oz)
  • 1 16-oz can organic kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 16-oz can organic black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 Tbsp. organic chili powder
  • 1 c. spring water
  • 1 28 oz. can Eden Foods Organic Crushed Tomatoes with Onion and Garlic (28 oz)
  • 1 ½ pounds grass-fed ground buffalo
  • 1 medium organic onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp. organic dried oregano
Instructions
  1. Brown buffalo in a Dutch oven or deep pot over medium-high heat, stirring often, 4 to 5 minutes or until buffalo crumbles and is no longer pink. Drain well.
  2. Return beef to Dutch oven and stir in spices.
  3. Add onion and garlic. Sauté 1 minute over medium-high heat.
  4. Stir in diced tomatoes and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
  5. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer, stirring occasionally, 15 minutes.
