Almond Encrusted Halibut (Gluten Free)

Sensationally simple, halibut takes on a creative crunch from almonds

This Recipe:

Preparation

  1. First, make the breadcrumbs.
  2. Lightly toast bread; grind in a Magic Bullet or food processor to make crumbs.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  5. In shallow dish, whisk together egg and milk.
  6. Stir together the breadcrumbs, almonds, and parsley in a separate dish.
  7. Sprinkle halibut with sea salt and pepper.
  8. Dip fish in egg mixture, then in almond mixture.
  9. Place fish in glass baking dish and bake 5 minutes per 1 inch of thickness.
  10. Serve with lemon wedges.
