Alaskan Cod with Shrimp and Wine Sauce

Preparation

  1. In a large nonstick skillet, heat the olive oil over medium until shimmering.
  2. Season the fish with salt and pepper and add the fish and garlic to the skillet and cook over moderately high heat until barely golden, about 2 minutes.
  3. Turn the fish and add the peas, half of the parsley, and the wine.
  4. Cook, shaking the pan occasionally, until the cod is almost cooked, about 4 minutes.
  5. Add the shrimp, mixing them into the liquid.
  6. Cover and cook for 2 to 3 minutes, until the shrimp are pink and curled.
  7. Sprinkle with the remaining parsley and serve in shallow bowls.
