Polyunsaturated fats (PUFAs)

Polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) are a large group of fatty acids including omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9.

It is important to note that an imbalance in PUFAs-getting too much omega-6 and not enough omega-3- shifts to the body to a state of inflammation which sets the stage for many chronic diseases.
