Ellagic Acid

Ellagic acid is a polyphenol antioxidant found in numerous fruits and vegetables including raspberries, strawberries, cranberries, walnuts, pecans, pomegranates and other plant foods.

Research in cell cultures and lab studies shows this powerful phytonutrient disarms carcinogens before they can make healthy cells cancerous. It has also been found to cause apoptosis (cell suicide) in cancer cells in the lab.
