Tortillas


Tortillas are considered Mexico's bread and act as the base for burritos, tacos and many other Latin-inspired dishes.

Hand-shaped tortillas can be made from either corn flour (masa) or wheat flour, which is then baked on a griddle.

Instead of traditional, high-carb, refined flour tortillas, opt for new healthier varieties made from whole grain flours or sprouting grains that contain no trans fat. We like Food for Life Brown Rice Tortillas that are gluten-free and lower on the glycemic index than traditional tortillas.
